The Dallas Society for Coatings Technology is a consortium of individuals and businesses with a common interest in sharing ideas and non-confidential advancements in coatings technology and applications.

We cooperate with coatings experts and chemical engineers to provide research and development of new formulations or adaptations.

Currently, our focus is on the development of a nanocoating designed to improve current FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technology. FUE techniques and devices are used by cosmetic surgeons to transplant individual hair follicles in hair transplant procedures. We are working with several manufacturing consultants as well as a hair restoration doctor in Dallas to refine a  newer generation of dry lubrication coating for these medical devices.
